188 Sockeye Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"Sockeye is the southernmost campground on Redfish Lake, some distance from the cabin and visitor center area. Remember: This is one of the most in- demand campgrounds in Idaho, and reservations should be made far in advance. The easiest times to find spots here are in the brief periods before Memorial Day and after Labor Day.

The area is forested; some of the RV sites are pull- throughs. There is developed access for people with disabilities, and a range of other services including a playground area for children. Sockeye also has access to boat ramps; this is probably the best campground on Redfish Lake for boaters."
