Cougar Point Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"Finding the campground: From Salmon drive 5 miles south on US 93 and then 12 miles west on Williams Creek Road (FR 021) up into the mountains.

The campground: This is one of the more accessible campgrounds coming from Salmon; the forest road to the campground doesn’t yet hit its most rugged spots. Good forest cover shades the sites, and this is a fine jumping-off point for hunting. It’s located in the Wallace Lake area near the Wallace Lake campground."
