The trail from Welcome Lake to Reflection Lake is through much heavier forest than other trails in the Crags area. From Welcome Lake, the trail switch backs over the ridge to the South and down into a lovely basin with heavy timber and lush meadows. A beautiful walk with deer, elk and sheep in the area. Reflection Lake is a great destination lake with good fishing and many side trips to other lakes in the area. The trail continues to Buck, Doe and Fawn lakes. Also, Twin Cove lakes and Echo lake make interesting side trips. There had been very little traffic in the area when I was there over labor day weekend. The fish were hungry, the scenery was beautiful, and I had the whole basin to myself.
