Settlers Grove Cedars - West Fork Eagle Creek

Settlers Grove Cedars - West Fork Eagle Creek Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"Judging by the large parking lot and the big-beamed arch that denotes the beginning of this trail, you’d guess that this is a popular hike. It is, but for only the first 0.5 mile. The overwhelming majority of hikers who come to the Settlers Grove of Ancient Cedars ramble only to the first few giants.

Beyond the well-constructed portion of trail that accommodates these tree gazers is a lightly used trail that delivers even more groves of giant cedars and a plethora of American dippers. If these flitting, diving, water-loving birds aren’t enough to hold the attention of you and your canine, then perhaps the ruins of an old mining operation will."
