Juniper Park Professional Guide
Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook
"The Juniper Park area is one of the real gems among eastern Idaho public campgrounds, but it can get crowded given its location only minutes away from Idaho Falls. Juniper’s popularity is more than local, though, because RV and other groups often use it for large group events, especially in the fall. For that reason you’re well advised to call ahead to check for availability if you plan to stay.
The campgrounds are located on the Ririe Reservoir, which meanders south from the Snake River; the reservoir is popular for boating and fishing. Bonneville County has put some work into this one, adding utility hookups in the late 1990s and staffing a visitor center. (It doesn’t have the features of a museum, but the people there can answer your questions and provide help.)"
