Riley Creek Recreation Area

Riley Creek Recreation Area Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"Riley Creek is an outgrowth of the Army Corps of Engineers development of the Albeni Falls Dam in 1955. This is an attractive, shaded, well-maintained campground. A residential area also facing the Pend Oreille River is adjacent, so bear in mind that you have neighbors.

This part of Lake Pend Oreille is especially popular for water sports, from kayaking to Jet Skiing. This area often gets busy on summer weekends, so plan to arrive early."
