Lakeshore Loop Trail

Lakeshore Loop Trail Professional Review and Guide

"Hike along the shoreline of Chatcolet Lake from Hawley’s Landing Campground to the Indian Cliffs Trailhead. Along the way, make a side trip on the boardwalk out into Plummer Creek Marsh. Then return along the forested hillside above the lake.

Outbound (for the first 2.1 miles) this route is open to hikers and mountain bikers only. The return part of the course is also open to horses. Dogs are prohibited. Take along your
binoculars and possibly a bird-identification book. There are several species of waterfowl as well as many other birds along the shoreline and especially along the Plummer Creek Marsh boardwalk."
