Hike to the semi-open, often flower-covered ridge above Chatcolet Lake. Take in the view from the viewpoint before descending again, down through the forest, to the Indian Cliffs Trailhead. This trail is open to hikers only. Dogs are prohibited. The Indian Cliffs Trail and the CCC Nature Trail begin along the same route. As you leave the trailhead, the track first climbs three steps, then passes a reader board. The course crosses a small wooden bridge 0.2 mile from the trailhead. Just after crossing the bridge is the trail junction that starts the loop portion of this hike.
