Dworshak State Park Professional Guide
Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook
"The main camping area is the 102-site Freeman Creek Campground, located next to a boat ramp on Dworshak Reservoir. Fishing is popular here, and there is even a fish- cleaning station at the campground. There are three main loops of campsites and three others
Dworshak dedicated to groups. About half of the sites here have water and electric hookups. The park also has an RV dump station. Besides all this there’s Camp Three Meadows, a forested area featuring nine cabins and room for a bunch of RVs, specially designated for large groups (ranging from church groups to business retreats to large family reunions).
It is located about 3.5 miles down a rugged dirt road from the Freeman site. Dworshak Dam and its visitor center are located nearby, as is the Dworshak National Fish Hatchery and the state’s Clearwater Fish Hatchery. The namesake, Henry Dworshak, was a twentieth- century US senator and newspaper publisher from Burley."
