Hazard Lake

Hazard Lake Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"This is one of the highest- elevation campgrounds in southwestern Idaho, which means its season starts late; snow tends to stick above 7,000 feet well into the summer. These particular mountains rise high above Meadows Valley, and you do get some great views. The campground is forest service—basic but well maintained.

Finding the campground: From New Meadows drive 6 miles east on ID 55, then 19 miles north on FR 257, and then 1 mile north on FR 259."
