Pole Bridge

Pole Bridge Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"This is a relatively primitive site set back in the mountains. The woods are thinned out here, but the Warm River (whose headwaters are nearby) does stream by, narrowly. Hikers and hunters will find it one of the best locations anywhere in Idaho. Hunters have long since discovered it, and the campground is sometimes full at the opening of hunting season in the fall.

Small mountain streams are all around the campground, and several nearby beaver ponds are a great spot for children to practice their fishing. Hikers willing to trek about 7 miles will get one of the best views of Upper and Lower Mesa Falls, the last major undeveloped major waterfalls in the Columbia River system."
