Sublett Creek Professional Guide
Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook
"This campground, along with Mill Flat to the north, is barely developed but is one of Idaho’s premier “ATV heaven” locations—camping areas where ATVers are actually welcome and where trails are set up for them. You get to the campground passing by the pretty Sublett Reservoir; the campground straddles the active Sublett Creek, which feeds it.
The landscape is mostly desert, but there are plenty of trees and other vegetation near the creek. This is a relatively remote area, far from population centers, and only the determined camp here—most of the time. But forest service personnel report that in some seasons, notably Memorial Day weekend, this campground (and Mill Flat) often are packed with hundreds of campers there to run ATVs."
