Malad Summit Professional Guide
Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook
"A secluded, forested campground just a few miles from the desert plains country of Malad City? Hard to imagine, but here it is, at the top of Malad Summit just north of town, a campground that looks as if it could be in the Idaho Panhandle. The burbling Mill Creek runs in front of it; there’s plenty of shade; a national recreation hiking trail runs close by.
The site spurs are a little short, so very long RVs might not fit in well. The campground is hosted and is highly popular; locals often check in by Wednesday (staying there that night to meet campground rules, then heading back to town until Friday afternoon) to beat the weekend crowds."
