"Check out the earthquake "zipper" which runs along the hillside in front of you as you drive toward the campground. Borah Peak was the epicenter of a 7.3 magnitude earthquake on October 28, 1983.

Drive east up the gravel road for 3.1 miles (5 km) to the trailhead/camping area at the end of the road. This road is suitable for passenger cars. There are 3 campsites available here, as well as a new toilet facility. No potable water is available at this site."

This is an incredible climb up Idaho's tallest peak. Don't under estimate its difficulty. It's about 5,400 feet in elevation gain in about 4.5 miles. Chicken-out-ridge can be just that. It is worth your time if want to climb an incrediable peak in Idaho.
