Bear Valley/Fir Creek

Bear Valley/Fir Creek Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"These mountain campgrounds, within a couple of miles of each other, are on Bear Valley Creek (Bear Valley is at that creek’s confluence with Elk Creek), and canoeists often use the campground as a staging area for their expeditions.

The Elk Creek Forest Service guard station is nearby. Lodgepole pines cover the area and provide shade. There are no services at either campground, so bring your own drinking water and supplies."
