O’Hara Bar/Johnson Bar

O’Hara Bar/Johnson Bar Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"O’Hara is the only public campground among the many in the Selway River Corridor with on- site water availability, and by far the largest. Located on O’Hara Creek (which converges with the Selway River here) in a forested area, this campground was recently renovated, and a 1-mile interpretative tour explains how that was done.

O’Hara Bar is located close to the border of the Selway- Bitterroot Wilderness Area. Johnson Bar, which is located on the other side of O’Hara Creek, is similar except for water availability and smaller size."
