Buttermilk Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"Finding the campground: From the Island Park Ranger Station on US 20, drive 3.5 miles south, then 2.2 miles northwest on Fremont CR 3 (the Kilgore- Yale Road), and then 2 miles southwest on FR 334.

The campground: This is probably the best place to access Island Park Reservoir; the campground sits on its northeast bank and features a concrete boat loading ramp and five docks. Various types of trout are available for the catching, and visitors engage in a wide range of boating activities (including Jet Skiing). Group sites are available."
