English Point West

Hayden, Idaho

English Point West Professional Review and Guide

"The trails in the English Point Trail System are on an isolated parcel of national forest land, somewhat unusual in this suburban setting. Because of the gentle grades of these routes and the opportunity to take one of the shorter loops if members of your party are getting tired, these hikes are good for families with kids. Each loop is marked with plastic diamonds that are colored to match the name of the loop.

Dogs are permitted but must be kept under control. These trails are open to hikers, equestrians, and mountain bikers. They are also marked cross-country-ski trails in the winter."
