Twin Creek Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"Finding the campground: From Salmon drive 39 miles north on US 93 (past the Gibbonsville exit) and then 0.5 mile northwest on FR 449.

The campground: Twin Creek is close to the Lost Trail Pass, high in the Bitterroots among the subalpine firs and located along the like-named creek. There’s a marker here indicating the Lewis & Clark National Historical Trail. This forest service site is a relatively flat woodsy area with well-spaced camping pads."
