Anderson Hot Spring

Anderson Hot Spring Professional Review and Guide

"A hot pool screened by trees in a creek canyon, near a dirt road. Keep swimwear handy. Users have dug out a soaking pool lined with cinderblocks in the bank above Little Anderson Creek. Hot water bubbles up through the sandy bottom, but since there’s not a strong flow the water gets murky after heavy use.

There’s morning shade, but in the afternoon both the water and the air temperature tend to get a bit too toasty for comfortable soaking. The site is just outside the forest boundary on Boise Cascade property but is open to the public as long as it’s treated with respect. Remember, no glass containers, no soap or shampoo, and please pack out what you pack in."

this a potetially nice spot, however the pool is shallow and needs work. parking is minimal and in the winter this road can be treacherous at best all though I made it there in a passenger sedan. Take a garbage bag with you and help us remove the garbage the jackasses have left. Happy Soaking!
