Red River/Ditch Creek/Bridge Creek Professional Guide
Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook
"These popular campgrounds have lost some of their former looks, since disease and other problems led the forest service to chop down a lot of trees in this area that threatened to topple over onto a camper. So don’t expect much shade. On the other hand, the recreational assets are intact: fishing on several streams and hunting for deer, elk, and bear.
These campgrounds sometimes fill up when hunting season arrives in the fall. These are good sites for tents or small RVs, but (though there’s no formal ban or restriction) those over about 30 feet may have difficulty getting into and around the campgrounds. The sites have no drinking water, so bring plenty of your own."
