Granite Springs/Poet Creek

Granite Springs/Poet Creek Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"These campgrounds situated amid tall tree cover lie on the Magruder Corridor, with Granite Springs straddling it and Poet Creek (the more remote of the two) just north of the road. Both are well set up for horseback riding, with stock facilities in the area.

Expect generally primitive conditions, however, and be prepared to pack in your own water (along with most everything else you need). Some campers use surface water here; if you do, be sure to boil it before drinking."
