Huckleberry

Huckleberry Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"Huckleberry sits amid a turn-of-the-twentieth-century mining district, where copper was energetically extracted for about a decade. Only traces of all that remain now.

The nearby Seven Devils area is both high (you’ll be well over 6,000 feet in most of it) and thinly maintained; the narrow mountain gravel roads are often muddy, owing to the late presence of snow (sometimes into June). Hiking and fishing are both good here."
