Black Lake Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"Not found on most listings of public campgrounds, this is one of the more remote and primitive in the Seven Devils (and in the Hells Canyon National Recreation Area, which is saying something).

This campground is at the edge of the Hells Canyon Wilderness Area, a useful jumping-off point for hiking into that part of the backcountry. Black Lake, good for swimming and fishing, is within easy walking distance from the campground."
