Mineral Ridge National Recreation Trail

Mineral Ridge National Recreation Trail Professional Review and Guide

"Besides being an excellent hike with great views, the Mineral Ridge Trail is both a history and natural history lesson. In the direction described below, the upgrades are very moderate. Benches along the way make pleasant rest stops, if you are so inclined.

If possible, don’t leave valuables in your car at this trailhead. If you must leave them, at least hide them or lock them in your trunk, and be sure to lock your car. Climb the barrier- free walk from the parking area to the reader board. Take the time to read about the area, and pick up a Mineral Ridge Trail Guide booklet."
