"Hike on a self- guided nature trail high above Chatcolet Lake in Heyburn State Park. Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) Company #1995 constructed the CCC Nature Trail in 1937, at the height of the Great Depression.

Pick up a copy of the Civilian Conservation Corps Company #1995 Nature Trail pamphlet at the Visitor Center before you start this hike. This pamphlet is a guide to the flora of each of the Nature trail markers and gives you an interesting overview of the Civilian Conservation Corps contributions to Heyburn State Park.

Dogs are prohibited."
