Bayhorse Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"You do have a highway on one side of you (which does provide some convenience), but then there’s the glorious Salmon River on the other side. The southern part of the campground is well designed for RV stays. Fishing the river is easy from here. Much of the camp underwent a major remodeling in 2001. Camping sites are clearly defined here (not always the case at BLM sites).

This is also a good place to start horse trips—trails are located not far away—but the BLM notes that horses are not allowed inside the campground itself. Boating may be possible, depending on river level, but there are no facilities for launches."
