Lake Cascade State Park/Sugarloaf Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"Finding the campground: Drive 8.8 miles north of Cascade on ID 55, turn left at the campground sign, driving west (there is no road name), and continue 2 miles to the reservoir.

The campground: Sugarloaf is an open-air, well-developed water’s edge campground favored by boaters and anglers headed out to Lake Cascade. The state website notes, “Due to Sugarloaf’s automated irrigation system, all camping equipment must be on living pad or site pad to prevent from getting wet. In addition, the irrigation water is not safe to drink.”"
