Lake Cascade State Park/Crown Point

Lake Cascade State Park/Crown Point Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"Finding the campground: From Cascade start to head out of town north on ID 55, but turn left (west) at the Cascade Dam spillway and head up the hill; the campground is less than a mile from either the highway or the town below.

The campground: Close to Cascade (and therefore convenient), Crown Point does have one of the best views of any of the reservoir campgrounds: up on a hill, looking down over the lake. (Most of the individual campsites, however, don’t have such a direct view.) The campground is an outgrowth of the Idaho Power Company Cascade project, a dam located adjacent to the campground."
