Lake Cascade State Park/Blue Heron

Lake Cascade State Park/Blue Heron Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"Blue Heron is located just south of Big Sage and similar to the five state park campgrounds on the northwest side of the reservoir: well-kept lawn and an open view, looking out toward the west (instead of toward the east).

This is a good place for boating and just hanging out next to the reservoir. Be aware that Blue Heron allows for overnight camping, but the nearby Cabarton site, which looks similar, does not. Dogs must be confined or on leash."
