Little Wood Reservoir

Little Wood Reservoir Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"A remote but easily accessed lakefront campground, Little Wood is larger than High- Five and has a campground host during the season. This is a desert area, with plenty of sagebrush and a modest crop of juniper trees.

This campground is well set up for fishing, with shoreline angling possibilities as well as boating; a boat ramp is available. The reservoir is not large, however, and you’ll rarely see Jet Skiers or other boating enthusiasts. The grounds have what amounts to about twenty camping spaces, but they aren’t on pads or otherwise designated; this is a “find your own spot” primitive campground."
