Ninemeyer Professional Guide
Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook
"Over the last generation the mountains northeast of Boise have been hit repeatedly with wildfires, some of them severely destructive. Ninemeyer has been among the casualties: As of 2015, no amenities were restored to this torched campground.
It does remain open, however; as repairs are under way, staying there is free, and the location remains good: The camping area overlooks the Middle Fork of the Boise River, a prime fishing location, and the sites are under cover of gradually regrowing ponderosa pine. The campground has no drinking water, so pack your own."
