Sierra Canyon Trail Professional Review and Guide

"Some may consider the long grunt from the historic town of Genoa to the top of Genoa Peak a bit masochistic, but for strong hikers and mountain bikers, the almost 10-mile, nearly 5,000-foot climb and corresponding descent might present a significant fitness challenge.

This is definitely not a trip for the faint of heart. Along with bragging rights for completing such a feat, the views from upper Genoa Canyon and Genoa Peak are a worthy reward for all the toil and suffering."
