Pu’u’hinahina Lookout Loop

Pu’u’hinahina Lookout Loop Professional Review and Guide

"This is at the upper end of “easy” because it is pretty steep down and up, but the trail isn’t very long. You can make a detour of only a few minutes to look over the Cliff Trail viewpoint first, then pass the ridge that blocks your view to the south in order to get a look at Waipo’o Falls, invisible from the Cliff Trail, from the Pu’u’hinahina Lookout.

You have to share the view with lots of people who have “hiked” only a few feet from a nearby parking lot, but you have the satisfaction of the journey as well as a bonus: an excellent view of forbidden Ni’ihau Island."
