Milolii Ridge Trail

Milolii Ridge Trail Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"Milolii Ridge Trail follows a red dirt four-wheel drive road along a ridge through a lush forest of koa and ohia trees. The road extends five miles to the jagged cliffs overlooking Milolii Valley at the southern end of the Na Pali Coast.

This hike follows the ridge for 2.5 miles to a picnic shelter under a canopy of trees in the Na Pali-Kona Forest Reserve. There are views across Makaha Ridge and the island of Niihau."

It's not 100% necessary but a 4x4 is highly recommended to get down the road to the ridge for the trail. The hike itself is on a dirt road so not very difficult. There are some nice ridge views. It's not bad but compared to other amazing hikes in Hawaii this one wouldn't be one of my top choices.
