Cliff Trail

Cliff Trail Professional Review and Guide

"Enjoy exhilarating views into and across Waimea Canyon, the Grand Canyon of the Pacific, in a setting of tropical vegetation and solitude instead of among other tourists beside a parking lot. There are a few ups and downs on this pleasant walk, but since most of it is on country road, none of it is steep.

There are lots of wildflowers, including ginger and orchids, as well as many native Hawaiian species to admire along the way. The trailhead is convenient to the headquarters of Koke’e State Park and is the starting point for many other destinations if you’re looking for a longer outing."
