Koko Crater Botanic Garden Professional Guide
Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook
"Koko Crater, historically known as Kohelepelepe, is a dormant, steep-walled cinder cone near the east end of Oahu. Inside the 200-acre crater is a 60-acre botanic garden, still in the early stages of development.
The trail loops through the garden around the perimeter of the crater basin. The garden cultivates rare dryland plants, endangered native flora and includes plants from the Americas, Africa and Madagascar. The blooming groves of plumeria and bougainvillea are diverse and rich with color and fragrance."
