Streamside Trail, Iao Valley State Park

Streamside Trail, Iao Valley State Park Professional Review and Guide

"The Streamside Trail meanders through the lush stream-fed chasm and dramatic landscape of Iao Valley State ark, an ancient spiritual center in the West Maui Mountains.

Waters from a network of tributary streams emerge from the folds of Iao Valley, converging inside the park to form Iao Stream. The trail crosses a footbridge over a stream and winds through a shady tropical forest to tumbling cascades, small waterfalls and natural pools."

This is a very easy walk (NOT a hike). It is an interesting spot to spend an hour and learn a little of the history of Maui.

This isn't anything strenuous, but the scenery is lovely and they have some pretty interesting history posted. It's a nice place to spend an hour or so soaking in the verdent splendor of the island
