Sandalwood Trail

Sandalwood Trail Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"There isn’t a lot of sandalwood left here, but there is a wonderful variety of lacy ferns, a very good chance to get a look at some native Hawaiian birds, and opportunities to peek right down into some steaming, sulfur-smelling volcanic vents. It’s a short jaunt within easy reach of the visitor center and Volcano House."
