Manana Trail

Manana Trail Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"The Manana Trail follows the ridge between Manana Valley and Waimano Valley through the rainforest for six miles to the summit of the Koolau Range. The trail is a remote, usually muddy, eroded ridge route.

This hike takes in the first two miles of the trail over continuous saddles and humps to various overlooks. The trail passes through pristine groves of eucalyptus, guava, koa and a lush undergrowth of low shrubs, moss and ferns."

Nothing dramatic. Pretty much a nice stroll, but with some minor slopes and tricky root covered paths. Nice views and now crowds. Plenty of 'hunting trail' offshoots for the really adventurous types.
