Stand on the highest point on the island of Maui—Pu’u Ula’ula or Red Hill at more than 10,000 feet—where (if the weather is clear) the views will knock your socks off! You can look right down into the colorful crater of Haleakala volcano, as well as out to sea to several other Hawaiian Islands. It’s going to be much colder than you expect at this elevation. Dress appropriately.
