"The Nakoa Trail, located in Kahana Valley State Park, leads through a lush vegetated rainforest to a large and deep swimming hole by a dam. The wildland valley is among the wettest valleys on Oahu with as much as 300 inches of rain annually. Kahana Stream flows from the Koolau Mountains through the valley and empties into Kahana Bay."

Good trail, it was a little slick because of all the rain. It was well marked with tape to avoid any confusion. Had to wade across a couple streams, about knee deep. The water over the dam was a little strong, had to help the wife across, she had the 2 yr old on her back.

I parked before you get into the residential area, then walked through. Had to ask where to park, that's where a resident told me to park.
