Moleka and Ualakaa Trails Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"The Moleka and Ualakaa Trails were established by the Sierra Club in 1979 and 1980. The two trails traverse the hillside through the upper east edge of Makiki Valley with panoramic views down the valley. Both paths wind past large banyan trees and through forests of bamboo, ginger, ti and lobster claw. The looping Ualakaa Trail connects the Makiki Valley Trail with Puu Ualakaa State Park."
