Stone Fort Trail is a hiking trail in Washington County, Maryland. It is within Harpers Ferry National Historical Park. It is 2.2 miles long and begins at 975 feet altitude. Traveling the entire trail is 4.4 miles with a total elevation gain of 1,213 feet. The Making a Mountain Citadel, Civil War Campgrounds, Stone Fort, 100-Pounder Battery, Charcoal Making on Maryland Heights, Exterior Fort, and 30-Pounder Battery information boards, Maryland Heights (elevation 1,453 feet), and the Stone Fort viewpoint can be seen along the trail. There is also an embankment along the trail. The trail ends near the Maryland Heights information map and the Hiking Maryland Heights information guidepost.
