Smokey Mountain Road

Smokey Mountain Road is a hiking, biking, and horse trail in Kane County, Utah. It is within Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument, Burning Hills Wilderness Study Area, and Glen Canyon National Recreation Area. It is 16.8 miles long and begins at 4,408 feet altitude. Traveling the entire trail is 33.7 miles with a total elevation gain of 3,175 feet. The Point of the Mountain Tank (elevation 4,318 feet) reservoir can be seen along the trail. This trail connects with the following: Rec Road 230, Rec Road 264 and Rec Road 230.
