Roost Road

Roost Road is a hiking, biking, and horse trail in Wayne County, Utah. It is within Glen Canyon National Recreation Area, French Spring-Happy Canyon Wilderness Study Area, and Horseshoe Canyon (South) Wilderness Study Area. It is 20.9 miles long and begins at 6,592 feet altitude. Traveling the entire trail is 41.8 miles with a total elevation gain of 2,392 feet. Horseshoe Point (elevation 5,791 feet) can be seen along the trail. The trail ends near the Hans Flat Ranger Station information office. There is also an information board near the end of the trail. This trail connects with the following: Sam's Mesa Road and Spur Road.
