Us Forest Service Road 85 is a hiking, biking, and horse trail in Rockingham County, Virginia. It is within George Washington National Forest - North River district. It is 3.4 miles long and begins at 3,893 feet altitude. Traveling the entire trail is 6.9 miles with a total elevation gain of 1,466 feet. Flagpole Knob (elevation 4,383 feet) and Slate Springs Mountain (elevation 4,370 feet) can be seen along the trail. The trail ends near Meadow Knob 3884 (elevation 3,885 feet).
