Timber Ridge

Timber Ridge is a hiking, biking, and horse trail in Augusta County, Virginia. It is within George Washington National Forest - North River district. It is 3.1 miles long and begins at 2,570 feet altitude. Traveling the entire trail is 6.3 miles with a total elevation gain of 1,822 feet. Sand Spring Mountain (elevation 3,730 feet) can be seen along the trail. Near the end of the trail is a meadow. This trail connects with the following: Timber Ridge, Forest Service Rd 423 and Hearthstone Ridge.
