Little Bald Knob (elevation 4,331 feet) can be seen along the trail. There are also meadows along the trail. The trail ends near the USGS Control 3929 feet survey point. This trail connects with the following: Bald Mountain Road, Wild Oak Trail, Wild Oak Trail and Horse Trough Hollow.
