Ocmulgee River near Bullard

Ocmulgee River near Bullard Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"This part of the Ocmulgee flows fast and wild as it winds through a wide valley protected by overflow swamps. Overflow swamps help keep this section of the Ocmulgee river corridor wild. Numerous fallen trees leave the relatively large Piedmont stream mostly to paddlers.

Its tan waters twist and turn, speeding past fallen trees in a setting of solitude. Rich, heavily wooded banks provide a serene frame for the river’s often-convoluted course."
